I have rented properties for years as I cannot afford to buy my own place. I signed a new contract for one year and was told my deposit was put into a government deposit scheme. six months on and I was still chasing my landlord for proof that my deposit was in the scheme. it has since been 8 months since I left the previous property and my deposit had not been returned. I contacted Duncan Lewis as I didnt know what to do. My Solicitor specialised in landlord and tenant disputes and took on my case. My case went to a small court where Duncan Lewis won the case for me. I am so pleased with the outcome and will definitely reccommend Duncan Lewis to anyone else who ends up in the same problem I did.
